From El Hoyo, 2 hs. south from Bariloche or north from Esquel. Within 45 min. drive we have exclusive access to two private ranches with two rivers and one small high-country lake. Fishing all the public waters in and out of the National Parks as the Manso, Pichi Leufu, Foyel, Villegas, the Chubut with an overnight trip that will produce Rainbows in great numbers. As a great option for easy wading and solitude these small lakes and streams in private properties between el Manso and Cholila are good places to make a day worth.
The unknown Río Turbio Valley needs a extra chapter, for those who would like to hike and camp. into a place where the only transportation available are horses and rafts, and it is a really unknown fishery. We have the place to explore.
Cholila with the unique Carrileufu, because the presence of the Landlocked Salmon or the beautiful Rivadavia with strong rainbows, is an area to make sure that you spend some time.
In Esquel the Futaleufu river is the largest river draining out the system of lakes and rivers off the Los Alerces National Park. This tail water fishery have high numbers of fish. Rainbows average size 15 – 17 inches. and colorful German Browns go up to 20 -23 inches. Nant I Fall Is a spring creek looking, small stream, slow moving draining out of the Rosario lake. All wadding nymphing and dry fly-fishing.


Laguna Willi - Manco small lake 20 min. that holds large Rainbows that are cacheable with grasshoppers and Dragonflies along the reeds on the banks. wadding or from a boat. The famous Arroyo Pescado Spring Creek east from Esquel needs no words as is so well known as a first class fishery.


Río Pico: The southernmost area known in the Chubut province for holding large trout. Five small lakes and two rivers with Rainbows and Browns, but the most reliable is Lago Tres, here a 5 pounder is an average size fish and it does hold trout up to 10 or more pounds. Rio Pico has very interesting spring creek looking waters for rainbows as Las Pampas is especially good for Browns.
